"There arenโ€™t many children in our area. Itโ€™s nice here. Itโ€™s pretty quiet and we have a lot of good neighbors."
  • Shadesmed
"We usually let our dogs run loose for exercise in this area. The roads out in the sticks here are not paved properly. They oil them over and seal them yearly."
  • Gina N.
"This is a beautiful lake get away area. There are acres upon acres of grass meadows, trees as far as the eye can see and foothills. Truth be known, the foothills are in the shape of Pyramids of ancient time. It is a spiritual area and we have LITTLE PEOPLE๐Ÿ˜‰ The lake is peaceful and beautiful. My people are from here. We are The Muskogee Creek Nation. Come visit, be kind and explore the mystery of Eufaula Oklahoma. With Loveโš˜"
  • Taylor.goad
"People will call the cops on your dog if they bark for over 5 mins. Even if their dogs bark all day over nothing. "
  • Kurtis S.
"Love our little community I live in nice friendly people. Only time itโ€™s busy is holidays and when the weekenders come down "
  • Kurtis S.
"We are a tight knit lake community that watch out for each other. Golf cart community only time it gets noisy is lake season "
  • Emory O.
"Our neighborhood has potlucks and everyone brings something and we all just eat and have fun. We also sometimes plan to get together at our community swimming pool and cook burgers while the kids swim."
  • Elizabeth B.
"I really don't like living this close to Main Street and I'd like to live a little more towards the city limits or in the country where it is quieter. I do like the convenience of town though! lol"
  • Emory O.
"Dog owners would like the sidewalks and the friendliness of people living in the community. They also like our big beautiful parks we have!"
  • Pialphamu
"It's out in the country, the people are quiet, and you never meet a stranger because everyone is so friendly. "
  • Dorothy
"My son has been had everything stolen twice in the last two years. People down the road they stole all the electric wire out of their house. Ok if you live there all the time. "
  • Larry
"Great area for families and retirees, friendly neighbors, no crime in the past 5 years since I've lived here!"
  • Larry
"I live in the Peaceful Acres on the north side of the lake off of Texanna Road. Great area, no crime, peaceful and serene in the forrest. As far as I know, all homes here are owner occupied, some for weekend and holiday second homes. Boating and fishing are the most common activities. A fifteen to twenty minute drive to either the towns of Eufaula or Checotah where additional recreation and shopping abound. A great area for retirees and families with kids!"
