I am a current student at BCHS. I have faced major mistreatment, there is unserved justice, and some of the teachers are the ones causing issues for students like me, not always students. I have gone to Bleckley schools my entire life, and always faced bullying and harassment by both students, and teachers. I have had my mother even go to the Super Intendent to try and fix issues, and at the high school in particular, the administration never does anything. They are extremely homophobic, and they try to force their opinions and religious beliefs onto other people, such as me. This has opened me up for tons more bullying, as I am an LGBTQ+ student who also practices Paganism, which in short is witchcraft. I don't hurt others, I keep to myself, and I have outstanding grades and help others as often as I can, and yet nothing stops the verbal and physical harassment I face at this school. If you have a choice of sending your students to this school, or one that is much more fair, I would highly encourage the latter. Bleckley is full of rich, snooty, rude people who don't like anyone that is remotely different. I hope something happens to help students like me succeed in this school, as the only lacking quality is the severe lack of equity and justice. The administration and teachers also seem to target students like me with things such as dress code. I notice some of my friends, who are more "popular" will never get dress coded, even if a teacher or administrator notices that they are breaking a rule. Yet every time I do the same thing, I get in trouble. I have even gone so far as to report other students for breaking rules to try and serve justice, given evidence, etc, and nothing is ever done. Yet I'll get accused of doing something I never did, and they have no proof, and then boom I'm the one in trouble. Please fix this school, and do not send your beautiful, wonderful children here as they will become corrupt, as I've seen it happen. Have a good day y'all.

What a great school. My son absolutely loves going to school everyday. The teachers and staff are amazing. He is thriving.

Teachers and staff at this school are some of biggest bullies to children. It is awful what they put some kids through that don't have the right last name.
