My daughter attended this middle school and I can say the Management and the leadership at this institution is top notch! Mrs. Kelly Knight is hands down one of the greatest examples of how a school should be run. As the country and politics is dividing the nation, this schools leadership still adheres to the fabric of what America stands for. This school promotes all inclusivity and is absolutely there for everyone regardless of your Gender, cultural or religious background. This is only possible because it has to come from the top and that top of the leadership is unparallel. From our dear friend Mrs. Susan Eyer to Ms. Shannon Nault, we will miss everyone as our daughter moves on to Highschool. These people absolutely sacrifice so much of their lives day in and day out so your child can have a better education, so your child can have a safe time in school, so your child can have a quality life later on. These people are always there for you and your child. So, appreciate them. Institutions like these are getting harder and harder to find.

As a family that has experience with multiple school districts across states and overseas, we are extremely disappointed with the level of education at Wellington. We believe this stems from the educational philosophy in Texas. They just want to move kids along if they are getting by. My child was receiving reading extra help in another state based on his scores. All information was provided to Wellington and they assigned him the same level Tier III support but he didn’t actually receive support from a reading specialist. They want to provide accommodations. Accommodations are NOT addressing the root cause of his struggles. They said he was not eligible for reading help from the reading teacher because it is only for kids with dyslexia. They do not care to help a struggling child who simply needs some additional intervention in reading.

Absolutely horrible school that rushes through classes and tests do not represent the material taught. Trying to teach algebra 2 in 6 months is an absolute joke. A lot of money is spent on select sports and advanced teams but the rest of the kids get what’s left over. If this one of the top schools in the area then that is a huge problem
