There a lot of mom and pop stores, local family owned restaurants, and the friendliest people you will find anywhere. Local Law Enforcement care about the community and the people that live in it. The subdivision exhibits pride of ownership and they seem to be a close knit community. One of the nice perks is the Riverbend House, where the homeowners meet once a month for a pot luck lunch and a neighborhood meeting. The Riverbend House is available to the homeowners in the subdivision and is often used for family reunions, baby and bridal showers, or any other event that requires a crowd larger than you can accomodate in your home! The subdivision is sitting on a beautiful part of Toledo Bend Lake with easy access to Cypress Bend Resort on the Louisiana side of the lake!"
