Winslow High School is far from what is used to be! I find the staff very biased towards some parents and students. It's who you know in this very small town. I have also noticed that some teacher's are out the door as soon as the bell rings! What about our child's education? I feel there has to be a better system in helping our children achieve and succeed! The standards are too high in the grading system for Science and Math!! This is setting the kids up for failure. I know for a fact that other surrounding high school's do not have a high grading system in these areas! Some students may not understand the work and need to get he extra help, but it seems the teachers are always in a hurry to leave. Is this why they added an intervention class at the school? So the kids can make up their work and re-take tests? But in reality, this class does not give enough time for the students! What if the student wants to take their time and do well, instead of rushing through their work! I think teachers being available to students after school is the best way possible to help our children! Also, what happened to the dress code? I see many students violating this policy! Concerned Parent!

I'm a student at the WJHS and this is my first year there and I love it! Even though we all have some listing issues we still are a great school! This is is good!
