"They would like that dogs are welcome. They won’t like that most owners don’t cleanup after their dogs."
  • Baybay1972
"It’s a very small town but they are family oriented. They praise their local high football team. People are mostly friendly. They host a yearly chicken festival and it’s filled with all types of games, craft and carnival food! "
  • Rmocchi
"no public transportation you need to have a car or bike, is very nice to leave in this town, the only problem is not many jobs around the city is old and the old folks don't want the progress come to town, we need more stores and restaurants so we have something to do in town, because when we want to do something we have to drive out. all young people leave town for working in the big city leaving this city dead."
  • Ncreel2
"You can walk your dog thru the Fitzgerald neighborhoods with out getting run over by some crazy driver."
  • Angela A.
"People are friendly, While Fitzgerald is not a big city, we have everything we need right here. Wal-Mart supercenter, Harvey's, CVS, Walgreens, clothing stores, lumber and hardware stores, car dealerships, hotels, and pretty much any fast food establishment you could want. we have big name banks as well as small town banks, we have historic places, a theater, cafes, mom and pop shops. there are places to work as well. in fact it was a job that brought us here. "
  • Hypercanehutchinson
"We have The Wild Chicken Festival every year here in Fitzgerald, Ga. Every March we have a skydivers that come here to jump and offer Tandem jumps for everyone brave enough to do it!"
  • NunYa
"What makes Fitzgerald so unique is it’s abundance of wild chickens and meth heads. Oh, and don’t forget the skimming amount of decent paying, available jobs. :) "
  • Hypercanehutchinson
"Fitzgerald is a small town under 10,000 & Everything is within Walking distance under 2 miles to Walmart!"
