Happy New Year! Doing a price drop.....
Needs work...great do-it-yourself project! Huge house with tons of square feet! If you have vision, like I did 32 years ago, you will see the potential! This home was moved to this location and placed on a full block foundation. Block Walk-out basement has 2 bedrooms and one bath. Not sure of the actual square footage (main floor over 1,000 sq. ft, block foundation over 1000 sq. ft., upper just under 1,000 sq. ft.) but it's big with high ceilings and large rooms. 2+ Car detached garage. I have uploaded pictures of the basement from when it was remodeled a couple of years ago...More pictures to come. Selling 'AS IS'. 30 minutes to Rochester! Perfect for Mayo Clinic employees as it has a bus directly there! Text me at the number listed or email me at tracypeterson@mac.com. In the 11.20.19 issue of the Spring Valley Tribune they had an article about the Washburn-Zittleman House Museum. The reason I mention this is because that house was built by the same person (Washburn?) as my house. I have uploaded a picture that appeared in the paper next to the picture I had here of my bay window to show they appear identical (minus the long curtains and Christmas tree). You can compare the sides of the bay window at the baseboard, note the curved walls on each side. From stories I have heard over the years, my house used to live right next door to the one featured in the newspaper piece. It was moved to it's current location in the late 70's (I think).

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Kingsland! With an age range of kids in our home, we have experienced many things over the years at Kingsland. I would say up until 2017, things were tough with bad administration and school board but then something changed, completely changed. New board members came in and cleaned house, new administration, better decisions for the kids and community. Now, even just a few years later, Kingsland is the premier school in our area. The teachers at the elementary are amazing, the principal is fantastic and the culture is happy, comforting and wonderful. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI understand the reviews written in 2016 and before and I agreed with them then. But now things are so different at Kingsland. New school board members came in and drove those problems right out. I would not have believed it could happen until it did. There is a different superintendent and elementary principal and that has been huge for the school. There is now all new school board members and the chair is probably the best thing to ever happen at Kingsland. Lots of the teachers are the same as always but they have different attitudes now and really work hard for the kids. The school focuses a lot on homework help and being a big school family. I am happy with Kingsland and my kids love it there and have a lot of pride now. The changes over the last few years have been the best thing to happen in our community in many years.Parent Review5y ago
