We chose this district because of its low student-to-teacher ratio, which averages 7:1. This allows teachers to get to know each child as an individual, providing them with the support they need while spending quality time with them. The staff is caring, professional, and humble. From the superintendent to the volunteers, everyone is respectful and understands the importance of teamwork. While there isn't a lot of homework, which can be beneficial for busy families, I believe the kids' scores could improve if they worked on math flashcards or participated in Accelerated Reader (AR) activities for reading. These tasks wouldn't be mandatory, but they would be beneficial for the students.
