):This has been the worst school experience I have ever had. The staff shows zero empathy toward parents, and the lack of accurate information is overwhelming. In my case, I called to request important details and ended up even more confused because the information provided was incorrect. The employees don’t seem willing to help anyone; it feels like they are just there to collect a paycheck.Unfortunately, the school district assigned my child to this school, and although these comments should serve to improve things, it seems that no one cares, as nothing ever changes. The attitude they show in person is the same: indifference and a lack of commitment to the school community.

I went here for my sophomore and junior(senior) year and honestly they were both bad experiences socially and educationally. The teachers genuinely do not teach well, the students are rude, disrespectful, and don’t respect the classroom environment and the faculty/administration are utterly useless and do not do ANYTHING about bullying/harassment unless you get into a fight but even then, you’ll get in trouble for fighting back. I got assaulted and harassed by a boy and all they did was tell our teacher to keep us separated. From what I have seen and heard, there are more kids in intensive reading than there are in regular english/reading classes. These kids do not have basic comprehension skills or math skills. The kids are also racist and spew hateful rhetoric and say racial slurs to people of color. This school also does not have career programs. They spend all their money on football and remodeling the school. I would highly suggest going to Gateway for a nursing program and go to Lehigh Senior or East Lee.

As a former student of this school, its fine. But if you want better education its best if you leave the lee county school district overall. I came to the Miami Dade County School District recently, and I've been performing better in quizzes/tests. The only reason I would not recommend this school is because of the lack of teaching. However, if your child thrives without much needed assistance then it would be for her/him.

I won't say much but this school sucks I can't wait to go to a different school honestly I spoke of something that happened and it was told it was a lie it's not but I got 2 days of iss for telling the assistant principal that people came up to me and now I'm the only one in iss the other students are still in there classes I feel like no ones on my side like I don't want to be ur favorite for u to realize what's wrong and right I told the truth and I get called a liar then go to iss for no reason at all and for two days def favorites.

My daughter is so happy in this school that i recommend it to every one I know. I have been in the facility a couple times and the vibes you get there are great. I see teachers and staff willing to provide the best experience for the kids. Thanks Mirror Lakes for this.

My daughters first 2 years here were amazing!! Third year has went completely down hill!! No support for bulling, harassment and even assault!! Always say the other child said this happened…. Teacher shows no care for children. Praying next year is better being that we can’t change now due to bussing situation!!!

Every staff & administrator is on a massive powertrip.

This school bullies new teachers out of jealousy for career advancement. Older staff target subs and new teachers.

As a student that goes to the school, I’ll be 100% honest while I’m writing this this school is horrible. They tell the kids to be good so they can get to be all school students will bully other students. Teachers will bully students. Teachers don’t even teach most teachers don’t know what they’re teaching about and send you the in school suspension administration. Don’t tell the truth to parents and a kid got expelled for getting slammed on the door by administration instead of the administration getting fired. Only thing I would suggest the school for is 12th grade because. You may be able to get into colleges for free like FGCU but nothing else overall the school is very bad. I do not suggest sending your kids here for high school. Send them to the other gateway for middle school. You can send them to varsity lambs. You have a lot of options.
