First, sorry, but I'm firm on no indoor pets, or smoking inside.
Nice 70's custom farmhouse, aprox. 4000 sq' recent luxury remodel, beautiful location built by my grandparents on our farm. Remote, (two hours from Bend) but high speed internet, available now. Would prefer family long term but consider anything. No smoking or pets indoors, outdoor pets welcome as long as they don't bother the neighbor. Some furnishings available. Electric heat throughout, also with newer woodstove and one insert. Evaporative coolers for summer. Located on John Day river, between Mitchell and Fossil, near Painted Hills, where the pavement ends. Four bedrooms, two and a half baths, large yard and fenced garden/orchard, kids' play area, covered bbq, two car carport and small garage, amazing spring water, on about 500 acres that borders wilderness area. Only the house and yard are for rent, if you would like more please ask. Nice swimming-hole beach across alfalfa field, fishing access possible, on scenic bikeway, lots of wildlife. In quiet river valley, usually sunny and dry, mild winter weather, hot summers, great stars. Also, it isn't depicted accurately on the map, really maybe a half mile east, but still on the property.

Electricity about $200-250/mo. High speed (24 Mbps) internet $52.30 mo. No smoking or pets indoors, may be kept outdoors if they don't bother the neighbors.
