    "Killeen is a military town. There are many families of all ethnicities who play together very well. Everything is within a 10 min drive which includes gas stations, grocery stores, shopping centers, movie theater. If you are looking for a place to start/raise a family, it’s extremely affordable. Austin and Waco are about an hour away. There are 2 great challenges, the violence in bad areas and the lack of descent to high paying jobs... the crime rate is extremely high in bad neighbors. Some people travel to Temple and Austin for work. I have been leaving in this peaceful neighborhood for almost 7 months and never had an issue. "
