4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a student at Bon Air Middle School and I would not recommend sending your child here. I have a few reasons why. Your child will randomly get in trouble for something someone else did, and if they actually did something, they would drag your child out of the room if your child doesn't cooperate with the teacher. Their teachings suck. I can't name everything in the book, but this is a bad place to be.Parent Review4y ago3 Reviews - Kokomo Area Career Center

"It’s safe. Neighbors keep their dogs trained mostly and there isn’t a need for dog catchers. Neighbors are friendly and have a sense of responsibility. Dogs aren’t obnoxiously barking at night"

"First Fridays but that’s really a city event. Nothing happens in this neighborhood. Just people avoiding each other and kids playing with each other"

"Always watch your children. Teach them to stay out of others peoples yards. Some of these people do not need to be around children so please keep an eye on where your children are going and the routes they take. Be aware that everyone children are not raised correctly so be mindful of bad children at parks and other public places near by. "

"The roads are poorly maintained and the Mayor and City council have focused on reducing the road size to allow minimum traffic flow. Poor city planning, resurfacing of roads is non-existent unless it is a road project to narrow from 4 lanes to 2 lanes. My vehicle suffers from the extremely poor road conditions. Crime rate has risen significantly from housing projects negotiated with Chicago to house its Public assisted. "

"I love being able to be in walking distance of Downtown Kokomo and Kokomo Beach. My neighbors are nice and let me kids play out back by themselves. I can also hear music from Foster Park if I sit in my back yard AND see the fireworks!"

"Needs cleaned. Homes are in dis repair. Junk, clutter, old cars, fence row that is in between the park and Arnold st needs to be kept up in the summer it doesn’t get mowed or weeded ( never) unless church group does it once a year. Dead trees every were. Someone is going to get hit with a dead limb. But besides that everyone is nice I chat with. "

"Great area close to many restaurants and shopping and doctors. Not many children in the neighborhood, so family’s with children may want to look elsewhere. The kids would not have many playmates. Wonderful neighborhood. "
