Enter through the front porch into the great room set up for comfort with reclining sofas and beautiful vaulted ceilings. The cut stone fireplace has gas logs with a timer thermostat and a 55” HDTV is mounted above. Direct TV package (PPV not available) is accessed on all TVs throughout the cabin. Upstairs you will find a spacious game room with a pool table and a media room for enjoying a movie.
There are 4 private bedrooms each with King Size beds, HDTV televisions, and closets to store your belongings out the way. There are 3 full bathrooms as well. The master suite is spacious and open with a corner Jacuzzi jet tub and separate shower.
The large kitchen comes fully equipped with a glass cooktop/ oven, microwave, side-by-side refrigerator, and dishwasher bringing all the convenience of home for meal preparations. Dine at the nearby farm table with seating for 6. There is extra seating at the cut stone island with bar stools.
On the back porch, you will find a gas log fireplace, outdoor gas grill (propane provided) and a large dining table great for cookouts. Take it to the fire pit next for some marshmallow roasting and your very own horseshoe tournament at the built-in horseshoe pit. There is also a swing set/playhouse for the young kiddo to burn off some energy! Make sure to end the evening in the hot tub to relax even more or let the kids swim and play.
With the spacious rooms and open floor plan, Wide Glide is a perfect cabin for multiple families, groups of friends, fishing groups and team-building retreats.
There are so many activities within minutes such as boating, fishing, horseback riding, zip-lining, ATV trails, and so much more! You will be near many restaurants as well in the area. So, head out and explore.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has attended this school one year. In that time, the child’s grades have improved. There are a lot of after school activities the kids can be included in like archery, quiz bowl, wrestling, cheer, 4H, fccla, library club. The kids are recognized in a monthly ceremony that also promotes school spirit and anti-bullying policies called the “Campions Assembly.” They have a school nurse, counselor, and principles in both education and discipline.While I have no experience in the special education department at this specific school, the district director is exceptional. I have spoken/met with her several times for a child in a different school but same district. The children are both direct instruction/mainstreamed where permitted and I see them on campus and are included in events outside of normal school operation hours.Every school has teachers that parents don’t “prefer”. Each child learns differently. You can be a supportive parent and be involved at this school. You can volunteer to help with after school activities and special events. I have even been on school trips with clubs. You can make this town/school your community if you are willing to put the time in to be involved. No school is perfect but I feel my child is cared for and education goals are being met. They want our children to succeed and try to help navigate issues as they arise. The classes are crowded and the teachers have to deal with lots of new students coming and going regularly. They stress reading and use the Accelerated Reader program which is good. The principal even takes the kids fishing if they meet their reading goals. As with most public schools, they are stressed trying to meet the needs of all the kids with limited funds and no support from aides or volunteers.Parent Review15y ago
