6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school. The bullying policy is not effective. The monitoring of students movements are not monied. There is no metal detector in place in case of weapons brought in the school. The leaders such as principal. Asst principal, security officer are reluctant to discuss with parents about incidents with students. There is no reform for bad behavior.Other Review1y ago13 Reviews - Junius H Rose High

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible experience. Every couple years there is a shooting either right off campus or in the neighborhood next to the campus. Fights all the time, the security frequently pepper sprays and tazes students who cause problems, and you will get caught up in it because of how crowded everything is, and how admin corrals everyone on one area during lunch hours. They do not treat students as human beingsOther Review1y ago16 Reviews - South Greenville Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't have a child and don't know anyone whos kid goes to this school but I thought I'd share my experience anyway. I had to call the school regarding donations of school supplies to the school. After a couple of rings someone picks up and say "Hello!" but not in the friendly tone. I wasn't even sure I had the right number because it just did not sound professional like someone should sound when they work at the front desk. A few words into what I had to ask, I was interrupted and was told "Hold". After a few minutes my line was disconnected. Not sure if the lady answering was busy but there is simply no excuse to be rude like that. The worst part was when I called again, someone picked up and hung up immediately....so they thought. It turned out the phone didn't hang up all the way and I could hear a couple ladies speaking in the office . One thing I heard really clear was " I gotta get outta here" South Greenville Elementary, if a phone call alone is too much to handle, I wonder how you deal with the children who enrolls there? I never did get through and don't plan on trying to. To the lady who picked up that call, you need to get a different job. Your attitude stinks.Other Review12y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 401 E Fire Tower Rd.

"14 years here and people still aren’t considerate of their barking dogs after dark and throughout the night. CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS OR WALK THEM IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE!!!"

"Even though there are a good amount of duplexes, there is space between them and it is very quiet. I was very surprised."

"The ridiculous amount of pests, allergens, humidity, mold. Completely barren of trees. Just hundreds of houses regurgitated into tiny lots. I’ve never experienced living in conditions like this. I plan to get out of here in pursuit of healthier, living conditions."

"Pick up after your dogs. The flies are relentless. Its frustrating that people can be nasty and just leave the mess to pollute the neighborhood. How can people be so recalcitrant and not care about the ones around them. Especially non pet owners. Kids need-to play without worrying about stepping in the mess and tracking it into the home. "

"Every family member needs their own car to get around. Especially if you are deep into Winterville and you work or go to school or go shopping, because everything is too far to walk to and no one is doing the same thing at the same time to hitch rides. Invest in a good car. "

"It is important for parents to teach their children to pick up after their dogs. Also to respect the boundaries of yard space. Grass won’t grow where kids are constantly trampling on. A fence may be my next step. "

"Make sure your children know if they walk a dog you are responsible for picking up their waste, every single time! Do not use other peoples front yards as their personal toilet. "

"My neighborhood has great access to public access roads and is 2miles from a major highway (Hwy 11). A new bypass under construction will create a direct route to Hwy; shortening the distance by 1 mile and making access even better. "
