If possible, I would give this school 1 and a half stars. I substituted there today along with a few other people. The 5th graders from many classes behaved terribly, and that was with their teachers still in the building for training. I have been there to substitute before and overall student behavior has gotten worse. I've been there for other grades as well. I am not sure if it's because of administration or overall expectations for the students but the overall behavior in the class I covered and what I saw in other classes lets me know that there are definitely many areas that need improvement in the school.

This school is nothing but a mess! The principal Ruth Peña is not on the students side at all!! She loves to side to those who she’s known longest, and does not listen to her students opinions and request. Everyday I have to worry about my own safety, and that should not be something J have to worry about. The teachers tend to be rude and incredibly inappropriate especially towards the girls it’s sickening!! Me and many other students think that Peña should not be a principal at this school the student do not like her nor does the staff it says a lot about her ways of being a principal.
