5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReading other reviews blows my mind!! I, myself, am a Berlin graduate and have 4 children who attend Berlin now, whom ALL are doing good. My son has needed and received lots of help due to epilepsy. I am proud of him and the teachers for taking their time getting him where he is today. You wouldn't believe the amount of people/teachers who are willing to help one student...AMAZING! He is in 5th grade doing 7th and above grade level work. HUGE improvement. What parents don't realize is that it is ALSO the responsibility for them to help their own children. Teachers do what they can and personally knowing many teachers in the district, they teach not only with knowledge but also with passion. Yes, we do not have the best budget in the world, but who does these days. I love this school and the teachers and think they are doing GREAT jobs. These teachers need to start being acknowledged for what they do and appreciated! All schools have issues and this rating is based on the teaching level, which in turn makes a great school. On another note, Berlin District could def use more parent/community involvement (choice by parent, not schools prob). - Kristy LemiskaParent Review15y ago
