About this House

BUILT IN 1990 – 1714 square feet of living space plus the 3-car garage on .47 acres of land on a spacious corner lot with a circle drive and a garage entrance from Mildred St. The house is clean, move-in ready, not smoked in and, no pets in the past 22 years. It has legal RV/boat parking. You'll enjoy making this house your home.

Drive into the circle drive, walk up the front sidewalk and through the front door to appreciate the large entry area, the spacious living room on your right, kitchen and dining room straight ahead that are enhanced by the cathedral ceiling. A three/quarters-height wall gives the area between the kitchen and living room its “open concept” feel while still providing some separation between the living room and the kitchen. From the front entry, you can look through to the dining area and the Atrium doors to the 20' x 32' paver patio and the cozy, fully-fenced private back yard for your outdoor relaxing and entertaining.

The entry, living room, hallway and master bedroom have updated carpet. The kitchen and dining room have Brazilian hardwood floors. There is attic storage via a pull-down ladder in bedroom 3.

The kitchen's three walls are FULL of rich-looking, real-wood Cherry cabinets with granite countertops. Lots of room for small appliances on either side of the under-mount, stainless steel sink. While at the sink, a window allows a view of the back yard. The GE CAFE' gas stove slides into one side of the large granite-topped island with bar stool seating on the opposite side. On the side opposite the seating area is a built-in roll-top desk and office space with more granite counter-space on each side plus more cabinets. The refrigerator was new in 2018 with a five-year service contract. Included appliances: Refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, and a dehumidifier. Three TV's and washer/dryer are negotiable along with other furniture.

You enter the 3-car attached garage from the kitchen via the breezeway. The garage has a cement floor and electric garage door openers with remotes. There is appropriate outdoor security night lighting on the walkways, the garage and the back yard. There is access to the north side of the house and the back yard through a gate that is wide enough to LEGALLY park an RV.

The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. One of the bathrooms is off the extra-wide hallway near bedrooms 2 and 3. The master bedroom is 14' x 15' plus closet with an adjoining master bath with a privacy door for the commode and shower. The Master bedroom also has a view and access of the patio and backyard through an Atrium door. Bedroom 2 is 12' x 16' including the closet. Bedroom 3 is 14' x 11' plus closet. Besides the whole-house central air, each bedroom and the living room has a lighted ceiling fan. Attic access is via a pull-down stairway in the third bedroom.

An extra-wide stairway off the kitchen goes to the poured concrete wall full-basement. It was built with extra height to accommodate a future drop ceiling. The laundry and dehumidifier are in the basement. The furnace was new in 2013. The home is on city water and sewer.

"I've lived in the Flushing area for over 15 years. In that time people have become more self-centered, horrible at driving, and less inclusive. The schools at all grades have bullying problems they sweep under the rug. Speeding through town and out main street is rampant and dangerous. Crime is slightly above average. If you have money to blow this is a welcoming area, but if you are average or poor you are treated horribly."
  • Sarah T.
"There are always people out walking their dogs and the dogs all see very friendly...people too, haha!"
  • Jordan H.
"This is a great place to raise a family. There are so many kids here, the schools are amazing, and there are many parks within walking distance of almost anywhere. "
  • Kyleraup
"We’re next to flushing park which is great for walking your dog and there is a large dog park. It’s a great town to own a dog in."
  • Sharon P.
"I'm on Main St not in a sub, not many young kids around but I do see families walk, run and ride bikes together. Pretty safe and quiet."
  • Dlewicki
"folks walk their dogs all the time. No problems as long as they are on a leash, well mannered and under supervision. owners must pick up after the animal or suffer the wrath of the neighbors"
  • Kaleeap
"The friendly neighbors and family friendly neighborhood is great to start a family and settle down. "
  • Chesterclaxton

  • Cdunton

"Dog owners would love the many parks Flushing has to offer. One of our parks are a destination just for dogs to let loose. Nothing better than a happy pooch."
  • Kyleraup
"There are tons of community events like harvest festival, candle walk, concerts in the park and many more."
  • Chesterclaxton
"it is a comfortable place to walk dogs, neigbors are dog friendly and those with dogs picks up after, Mt Morris has several parts some more rural and others suburban and some urban not sure how this answer fits for the Urban side. "
  • Kyleraup
"I’ve lived in Flushing for over 20 years now and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Great schools, parks, and caring community."
  • Kyle R

  • Ketchu1j
"dog friendly community. lots of walking routes, off-leash dog park inside of county park, never see any loose dogs at large."
  • Brycebellinger
"Nice neighborhoods with inexpensive housing and taxes. Neighbors are nice and community is very nice and friendly. Not a lot of through traffic in town. Lots of activities for kids and schooling is great!"
  • Kayla W.
"Flushing is a very friendly community as if the town was so small everyone knew each other and treated each-other like family. We watch out for each other and keep our eyes on our surroundings to make sure there is no foulness. Very quiet and so many events happen down town right on main street as well as the shops/ restaurants and bars! Love Flushing!"
  • Melissaharding08
"Great community and the Woodland Ponds are a great source of fun and entertainment!"
  • rose
"Love this cute historic town! Great community for families and retirees, We feel safe from crime and a sense of community togetherness. For a town of this size (aprox. 12,000 people) there is a lot of community involvement and festivities that the city holds. Everything that you would need is downtown and is all walking distance of each other. Some draw backs are Pedestrian safety, cars are not aware of walker/ bikers and do not watch or stop for them. Shopping and dining is minimal, but what is available is good, and again it's comes with the size of the town. "
