"Adams is a small suburban town. The streets are safe and the neighbors are nice. There are some elements that can be a little ruff around the edges but I feel safe walking down the street at 3 AM alone. It is a good community. "
  • David Laurin
"Good area for dogs. I have two dogs myself. This is a small community where people are friendly and interactive."
  • Karen M.
"Highway is too far away, a lot of roads here need new pavement and cleaning. People do not abide by the speed limit. Certain roads need 4 way stop signs "
  • Hunter P.
"Bike trail is nearby so a long safe walk is always available. Just make sure to pickup their poop like the rest of us "
  • Williambbrks
"Great place to live!!! Very safe and quite neighborhood with a nice downtown area.Lived here for 5 years."
  • Joseph C. T.
"Walkable, and great outdoor recreation assets within minutes...biking, hiking, XM ski, fat bike, fishing, etc"
  • Dlaurinjr001
"There are lots of events. Christmas tree lighting, movies on the common in the summer, trick or treating on Halloween. Good small town stuff."
  • Dlaurinjr001
"I have lived here for 14 years. This was a great neighborhood to raise my kids and continues to be a really nice place to live. "
  • D
"It’s a nice enough place but has many downfalls. Hopefully it can fix certain issues like lack of employment and drug use. "
  • Susan.m.curro
"I drive myself 30 minutes to and from work every week day. There’s no close enough public transit pick-ups to take. "
  • Truthfirst1
"Adams is the undiscovered jewel of the Berkshires. It is really one of the prettiest towns, it has the best access to Mt Greylock Kids do play outside here, and ride bikes. Most yards aren't fenced. It is like living in the 50s/60 Overall well kept Downtown is depressed like most small towns in New England except the white collar college towns but it is well kept up and pretty. People are as friendly as you are. Most keep to themselves. Some lovely old houses, can be tough to find a great house since a lot of the housing stock is old mill houses. You need a car and can expect to go to other nearby towns for restaurants and night life. Blue collar Its only 15 minutes from Massmoca, its close to anything cultural Not for you if you are looking for modern polished gated community and if you are a snoot, forget it. Go to South County Williamstown, the locals here will tell you to get over yourself."
  • Mickey C.
"It's perpetually 1970 in Berkshire county. If you are looking for Nostalgia or a quiet place to retire, this is it. "
