About this House

Do you love historic homes but want the peace of mind of new systems? This house dates to at least 1879 and was on the original stagecoach road that ran to Eureka Springs. It is located on one of the most beautiful, fairly level lots in town, with heirloom plants and plenty of off-street parking. The owners live in the neighborhood and decided this home needed to be saved, so they gutted to the outer walls and restored the home to better than new! All new wiring, plumbing, new HVAC, new decking and architectural shingle roof, super insulated and new windows/storm windows on all sides except the historic, wavy glass windows on the front façade, which also received historically appropriate storm windows. All new kitchen with quiet close cabinet doors and drawers and all new stainless steel appliances. Large mud room/utility room and wonderful screened in porch overlooks the back yard. Downstairs master bedroom with bath has French doors that open onto the screen porch - think of the cool breezes! Large outbuilding/garage has been finished inside and would make a great studio or guest house.
