"My family live in high point. It’s a blessing to be here. My kids love the school and the quality of life is ideal especially for a young couple renting or retirees who own their homes. "

"Great place to live and quiet. It’s really affordable to live here. I would get three jobs if the rent went up just to stay here."
    • Prestonhashagen
"Montague day, a couple local fairs and events at the club house in the country club and firehouse as well as the golf club at the country club. Also the terrible internet and cell phone service "
    • Autumn
"It’s cool. I like the lakeside view from different angles. Pet friendly and rural. I like it. It’s a month so far. Definitely need a car to get around. "
    • Ekkyzer
"No one picks up after their dogs. The dog park is for small dogs only. Every day someone is posting about a dog running loose somewhere in the community. "
    • Lori
"Dog park is here for all to use. Neighbors are pet friendly and town has hiking trails for dogs also several veterinary clinics nearby. Everyone has their dogs on a leash"
    • Vv4u2nv1
"For us we love to go to Montague day. Seeing the community get together and watching the fireworks by the main building. Plus having food and drinks plus all the kids get together to play is always special to us. We have grown to love this community and hope to be here for a long time. "
    • Herbert F. G.
"Nothing ever going on up here. Lots of trees, rocks, deer and squirrels. occasional bear. Great place if you're into golf, just be sure to watch for the incoming"
    • Liz C.
"None they bearly ever have events no recreational nothing for the children this community needs some major changing "
    • Melissa S.
"A lot of space to walk your dog but sometimes people drive fast so you’ll have to be cautious "
    • Barbara V.
"There are lots of dogs. However, some people do the off leash which isn’t always good idea for obvious reasons. River and parks very local for hiking and swimming. "
    • Vivian
"I live in a country club that is known for Golfing. It’s a well kept community that has an Olympic size pool and tennis courts. Not to mention plenty of fishing. "
    • Bjhajb
"Closeness to Delaware River and lack of street lights and sidewalks this isn’t a city or suburbs this is rural NJ which is shrinking all the time "
    • BV
"Small community great for outdoorsy folks who like to explore state and national parks. Location to river and mountains give this area a beauty not found in many other places. "
    • Kayla L.
"The neighborhood has easy access to the surrounding areas and highways. The local restaurants are great."
    • Carol T.
"Montague I a beautiful area, surrounded by State and Federal parks, plus the beautiful Delaware River. Quaint Milford, PA is just across the river, and plenty of shopping is to be found a few miles away in Matamoras, PA."
    • Krumpfer
"Privacy and nature. In Spring, Summer, and Fall; sunsets over the mountain, sounds of nature (not cars or planes), fowering plants bringing new colors every couple weeks, hiking right out of the yard, and great barbecues. In the Winter; beautiful white snow outside and crackling fires inside. . . and the smells of baking in the three ovens."
