Hinsdale Elementary School is fantastic. Teachers really care for their students and students like coming to school. There have been changes in the last year, they got a new Principal that is bringing with her new ideas and views, which is great. My kids love her. There are many community activities, concerts, and math night is always fun. They have an excellent begore/after school program and Pre School program also. It's a small school so everyone knows each other which gives you a nice sense of community too.

There have been changes made in the High School that have been very positive over the last few years. The overall climate and community of the school has been very positive. They have an excellent ELO program. The Extended Learning Opportunity program partners with local businesses and helps get kids get out into career situations that they may be interested in and extends their learning. They have encouraged my son to challenge himself academicly and he has been excelling. They also are supportive of students who may not be looking to go into college and what helping them see what other opportunities there may be for them. Over all my experience with Hinsdale Schools has been very positive. They encourage parental involvement too. Being a smaller school helps too.

My experience at this school is excellent. The staff is very helpful and kind. The school is clean and well cared for. The food is top quality for a pubic school. Students seem to be social and make great friends with their peers. During this Covid thing, they have kept the school in shape and clean so the students and the staff can be safe. Bullying is never really a problem and if it ever is, it gets taken care of asap. This school brought out a lot and was very supportive when it came to people in the LGBTQ+ community, the color of people's skin, disabilities, and really everything else. If you are thinking of switching schools for your child, I highly recommend this school.
