Nice well run school in good neighborhood. Park across street. School building about 12 years old and very nice. Great football program and very well attended. Students are encouraged to shop for classes in addition to the required curriculum. Many additional subjects such as a favorite, Restaurant management. Design and sewing, Mechanic shop and woodworking is also taught. Teamed with local college to access college prep programs. Band, Choir, Keyboard, and weightlifting are a few of the classed a student could choose with their self selected courses in additions to mandatory reading, writing, math, science, history, civics, and physical education curriculum. The school is large enough to have many after school programs such as drama and 4-H animal eduction, Yearbook, Newspaper, and a golf club. Student body diverse and accepting of students of all backgrounds. Excellent library and resource center. Well appointed auditorium. Close to town and yet a bit on the edge of town. New subdivision just built close to school. Teachers and Administration care about the students and get to know each by name as the year proceeds. Most of the local children know each other from local activities such as boy scouts and girl scouts, sports, and the school and town bands and parades each year. A fun local school well connected to the community and number one in safety.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional education and support my children, have received at your school. The positive transformation we've witnessed since transferring from Mossy Head Elementary has been remarkable, and it’s a testament to the dedication and care you all provide.Mrs. Howell's kindness and commitment to helping in my son’s academic progress have been truly inspiring. Her motivation in helping my son get the right help he needed, and getting him in small groups to help him focus and succeed have made a significant difference in his confidence and understanding. We are deeply appreciative of her efforts.Similarly, Mrs. Autry's work with my daughter has been invaluable. Her ability to help my daughter with her reading and math skills has truly impressed me. She has helped her transition from Prek to kindergarten in a manner which has helped my daughter thrive. We are so thankful for her guidance and support.Beyond the classroom, the supportive and helpful atmosphere in the front office has been a constant source of reassurance. The staff's willingness to assist with questions we have to point us in the right direction, also showing respect and understanding has made our experience significantly smoother.In short, transferring to Maude Saunders was the best decision we could have made for our children's future. The positive impact on their academic performance and overall well-being is undeniable. Thank you again for everything you do to create such a nurturing and enriching learning environment.
