This school district is a great place to raise a family at. Lake Pleasant is a small school so each student gets countless individual instruction to gear them for high school and their future. Most students go on to become valedictorian of their high school class. The communities around the school have so much to offer the students such as ski lessons at the close by Oak Mountain and swim lessons at the Piseco Lodge. The administration make sure each student is as involved in the community as they can be by helping near by business with any needs they have and they also have a community clean up day to keep garbage off the streets. Me and my family are very happy we have the opportunity to be a part of this community and family.

I graduated from this school. The time I spent there was excellent. The faculty had zero tolerance for bullying, mischievousness, drugs/alcohol use, etc. They fostered a culture of success and growth. The education was very good considering the low population and distance from available extracurricular activities. We went on plenty of trips to expose us to "life outside of Wells" which I think is very important in a lower income extremely rural area. I played some of the sports which, although limited, are about all you can put together with such a low enrollment. I had fun on the teams and never thought the school could have done more but didn't. I went on to college and graduated with a good GPA from an excellent private engineering school. I have worked great jobs for large companies in production, research, and development. The proof is in the data now; WCS did a good job preparing me (and my classmates) for the future.
