I am not from a small town and was nervous about what the school system here would be like. I have had 3 kids and will have my 4th attend here. We love it! Communication is excellent between parents and teachers. I do not have a Gucci bag nor do I see anyone else with one…so there’s that. I participate in the PTO and find that has been really beneficial to really knowing the staff. The only thing I notice and wish was different is that there are not a lot of minorities here, but that has nothing to do with the school itself.

It is a small town high school, with all that entails. I am a few years out and after college (graduated in 2012, my younger sister graduated in 2016). It provides mediocre education, limited academics (when I was there they had just started offering an AP curriculum ...10 or 15 years after most schools in surrounding towns). The school emphasizes sports participation and my sister encountered a bullying culture that was extreme at times and mostly went unchecked by staff and administration. I think if you fit in to small town culture and don't have particularly high expectations when it come to academics or support offered to students, then it is fine. Personally I would want more for my children!
