There isn't much Nightlife in Homosassa, but you can hop on the Suncoast Parkway and you are in Tampa within an hour and can dine, dance, and see first rate shows to your hearts content. I used to live in the "woods" for many years with my parents. As an adult it was hard to find other Young adults my age; but I think that SMW should target younger people to fill the gap being left by older retirees who are leaving! Singles and families should be moving in. Create and sense of community for the next generation. The homes are not that expensive and both the original part and Oak Village and Southern Woods offer different price ranges and styles to meet all of your needs. A big plus is the new plaza that was built off of 98 and 19! How great is it to have a PUBLIX in your back yard and so close! Take a look around and you maybe surprised. There is more than just manatees here."
