Both of my sons attended Providence Elementary. I have to say, the teachers and staff are above average in teaching AND compassion. In my experience, there is minimal bullying from students. The teachers and administrators hold several anti bullying events each year and have “kindness matters” events throughout all grade levels. Providence is a rather large school, but the “family” feel it has, is second to none. I honestly wouldn’t have wanted my boys attending any other elementary school.

In my experience, George A. Smith Middle School was extremely frustrating. I felt like bullying issues were not handled seriously enough, and it often seemed like students were expected to just deal with problems instead of getting real support. I also felt some teachers were disrespectful or dismissive, which made school feel more stressful than helpful. Obviously everyone’s experience is different, but mine left me feeling angry, unheard, and disappointed
