  • Michael P.
"The neighborhood is quiet and full of nature. Has a lot of trails for having a fun walk to a waterfall and enjoy nature"
  • Jessie
"very few fenced yards due to HOA regulations but a lot of dogs in the neighborhood being walked. Also an off leash dog park."
  • Polly M.
"I dont do community events but if I wanted to their is so much to do here!! beautiful Marina at Lake Whatcom, I love to bring my grandkids swimming and picnics in the summertime.i live close to Stimpson trail and it's a lovely one as well as a few more very close by. I love Sudden Valley and I have lived out here 2 times in my life and have lived here a total of 15 years. It's a great place to raise children and a great place for grandchildren!! Mine just moved to Ferndale to be closer to mom and dad'swork. I got to help raise a 12 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson!! "
  • Kimberly

"Rural, quiet area with lots of amenitites."
  • margaret b.
"Sudden Valley just outside of Bellingham is an exceptionally beautiful neighbor hood with excellent neighborhood store and restaurant. Golfing , hiking and Lake access make it a really special place. There is a bus, security, recreation center and a summertime pool. "
  • Krndyer
"Sudden Valley is an extremely beautiful area with lots of trees, views of mountains, lakes, deer, squirrels, birds, and friendly people! It really is paradise! The only drawback I can see would be for those who run at a rapid pace, who can't handle the slow pace, the need to drive slowly so as not to hit a deer and the fact that Sudden Valley is a few miles out of the heart of the City of Bellingham."
  • albrecr
"Beautiful views and tranquility - still can get to downtown Bellingham in less than half an hour, "
  • Michele
"I have lived here in the past. I miss it."
