6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey ruined my chances to college had two of my dream schools looking at me and getting in touch with me they needed something from the school and they poked along so much the deadline was up and they didn't send in my stuff, I could have been a senior in college this year. Also the people didn't do NOTHING for bulling the whole school system in whole didn't do nothing for bulling and I was physically and mentally bullied.Other Review7mo ago3 Reviews - Rome Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe faculty and staff of RMS run a tight ship, which is much needed structurally at this age. They push students to achieve more and exceed expectations. My child feels like the teachers genuinely care about him as a person as well as his academic success. As far as middle schools are concerned, I feel confident that my child will have a positive experience. Teachers work hard and are compassionate toward students. Expectations are clearly outlined from day one, and students are given multiple chances to complete assignments and succeed. RMS also has strong extracurricular programs. Show choir, band, and chorus are incredible. There are 200+ students in band and in chorus. Sports teams are competitive with same-size middle schools and often come out on top. My child states that he likes middle school much better than elementary school, and he had a positive experience there as well.Parent Review11y ago8 Reviews - East Central Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff of EC has helped my sons transition to a new school. They also hae a team of teachers helping my oldest cope with social issues. They are strict and run a tight ship, but students are challenged and learn in interactive and interesting ways. It's fair to say my sons have grown intellectually.Parent Review14y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 3rd Ave.

"It’s been here for a long time, but the houses are overpriced. Family oriented, and close to downtown. "

"You can be anywhere in 15-20 minutes. The main roads are slow during peak times, but at most, will add 5-10 minutes to your commute. There’s always an alternate way to get where you’re going. "

"There are lots of places you can take your dog. As long as they are on a leash many restaurants downtown will allow, there is also a dog park and trails. "

"This is a small town with narrow streets that could use updates. But the commute isn't bad due to it being a small town. I'm from W. Palm Beach FL so this traffic is much less than I'm used to."

"The local community is very close knit and continually looking out for each other. Yet not to the extreme of being in each other’s business too much. Local public transit is certainly in need of improvement. The area is for the most part very well maintained and has a nice visual appeal and cleanliness. A fair amount of variety in regards to activities, shopping and dining. "
