The condo is located in a quiet neighborhood right off of Georgia Avenue (cross street is near Connecticut Avenue) and is close to I-495, I-270, I-370, I-95, Route 200/Intercounty Connector, Route 29, Bethesda, White Oak, Glenmont Metro, Wheaton, Rockville, Kensington, Brookeville, Olney, Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village, and Downtown Washington DC.
The large bedroom (13'x14') has a walk-in closet, oversized windows allowing for plenty of natural light, and will have new wood laminate flooring. The main living area has a balcony with a nice view and south facing exposure allowing for plenty of natural light. All carpet in the living room, dining room, and hallway will be removed and replaced with brand new wood laminate flooring. Separate storage room included in the rent.
As for the community itself, the 25-acre community is located in a park-like setting near Aspen Hill and includes a community BBQ pit, basketball courts, and walking trails. Parking is available in front of the unit (one assigned space) with plenty of visitor parking also available (you will receive two additional visitor parking hang tags).
In regards to shopping and entertainment, several convenient shopping centers are nearby. Aspen Hill Shopping Center (which includes Giant, CVS, Panera, Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie, Mezeh, and MUCH more) is a ~5 minute drive and Wheaton Mall is less than 10 minutes away.
The rent includes electric, gas, sewer, water, trash, and recycling. Utilities not covered by the fees above include Cable and Internet (Verizon or Comcast) to be paid by the tenant.
The unit will receive detailed and prompt attention/management by the Owner. Not managed by a third party real estate firm/contractor. The unit will be updated and professionally cleaned prior to new tenant move-in.
Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Application fee ($25) due with application submission. Security deposit of $1,400 due upon application approval and signing of the lease. First month's rent ($1,400) and pet fee of $600 (if applicable) due the day before move-in.
The existing tenant lived there for nearly a year and has to relocate for work. The tenant prior to him lived in the condo for over five years and moved due to purchasing a new home. The prior tenant indicated that he never felt unsafe living there and never had issues with pests/rodents, missing packages, noisy neighbors, or noxious smells.
