    "Allendale is a great town to raise children. The town has two grammar schools, Hillside, grades K-3, and Brookside, grades 4-8. The schools are top rated in NJ. The town also boasts a lake which opens from Memorial day through Labor Day. There are many fun activities for children including a great rec program which runs from the fall to the spring. The town is punctuated with many little shops, and restaurants, including an ice-cream store. We are also within walking distance to NJ Transit Trains, and Buses. This town truly has that small town feel. "
