In my time here multiple people have brought firearms, drugs, knifes and the school would do basically nothing about it there was photos of kids holding guns IN THE SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS OFFICE, they where never found. They deny everything they STILL have no AC in most parts of the building we where on the news for kids passing out and they still didn't do anything and I've had multiple friends complain and file reports on teachers for harassment and school made it dissappear, the school does enforce dress code on shoe but let's kids walk around with shags and gang tattoos and kids where able to leave and enter the school as much as they wanted barely any security people would sneak in sell drugs then leave and they didn't even go to Morton

This has been the best school I have ever transferred my children to. The time and dedication the staff is with our children is indescribable. Dr. Bernard is such a dedicated principal and is the definition ofServant Leadership in this school. She not only helps teachers provide excellent teaching strategies but also works with the parent to be more involved and helps with techniques for teaching ur child at home. The Stickney police department is highly involved and attentive to the children of only with traffic duty on the street but walk the hallways to help children feelSafe and assuring not only staff but parents as well that safety is nothing u need to worry about. This has been the most welcoming area not only with neighbors but parents at school as well.

If you want to save your kid from neglectful teachers who dont care about them ESPECIALLY if they have a learning disability like ADHD, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. My Kid is constantly bullied by other kids and he and i have reported it multiple times but they do absolutely NOTHING. oh yeah, and not to mention that the school (especially during the winter) FORGETS TO FIX THINGS LIKE LIGHTS/HEATERS. My kid also says that his math teacher often neglects his needs (EVEN THOUGH SHES SUPPOSEDLY TRAINED TO HANDLE KIDS WHO HAVE TROUBLE LEARNING) and says his ADHD is just LAZINESS AND A CHOICE TO NOT DO ANYTHING. This school sucks in all honesty, do not send your kid here.
