"A nice place to call home. There's low crime, good schools, friendly neighbors, and easy access to stores. A decent area to raise a family AND feel safe doing so! :)"
  • Trulia User
"It's nice, the neighborhood next to and behind it is what can make it bad.Great for trick or treating. There are alot of older folks, but younger are coming in recently. Start HS kids can cause bad drama for the neighbors though."
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood is very dog-friendly, and you always see neighbors out walking their dogs. The neighbors are very friendly for the most part and most clean up after their pets. "

  • Raeanne B.
"I often see people walking their dogs. Most of the yards are fenced in the neighborhood. The sidewalks are in good condition. "
  • Crabara00
"Elmhurst is a good school but a bit overrated. The amount of kids in the neighborhood is hit or miss and kind of spread out. If you live on Bowen or Rushland you will have a lot of speeding cars which makes walking to school difficult. "
  • Onlysuperman
"fantastic it's the best neighborhood in the world. we should be all be lucky to live in a such a fine and fantastical neighborhood 😉"
  • Brian S.
"Great area for starter homes. Once the construction on the major roadways is done it’ll once again be easy to get anywhere in Toledo from this neighborhood. "
  • E.j. K. H.

"FRIENDLY, SAFE, LOVE MY HOME QUIET NOT A LOT OF STREET TRAFFIC. HUGE NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE. DOG FRIENDLY"
  • Eric K.
"There are sidewalks in the neighborhood and lots of parks to go too. Very friendly place for people with dogs. "
  • Jailyn d.
"Not many fenced yards for dog to run around or there is not ma ny large enough sized yards that would be reasonable for larger dogs to run around and play. Certainly not enough room for multiple dogs "
  • Nicky813
"We just moved in but everyone has been so nice...we have 2 kids and they already made a friend across the street. When it gets dark I don’t have a need to go walking but if I did I don’t think it would be bad. Shopping is right down the street and everything seems pretty local! I wouldn’t make it a habit to walk to the store but if you needed to it’s not that bad of a walk"
  • Tkiddguidancecounselor
"never had one problem in our neighborhood it's very nice with a lot of kids. Most of the kids go to Blessed Sacrament School but if not DeVeaux is not a bad school and they can also could transfer to Elmhurst which is one of the most desired Toledo Public Schools."
  • Brandy G.
"I lived in the neighborhood from 2003 til 2008 but my mother still lives in the area love it great community "
  • Kevin W.
