"you get around via car only, unless you want to walk long walks to work.. busses aren't worth it, due to the time slots between stops "
  • Michael W.
"Grew up here and know tons of people here. My kids are growing up here and have many friends and love their school. "
  • Alicia Z.
"6 years of living in this neighborhood. the area is very nice. my only complaint is my neighbors give small dogs that they let outside and bark constantly throughout the day. the borough doesn't do anything about it. other neigh ors also complain about the same issue."
  • Kandra H.
"Everything is within walking distance! Grocery stores, banks, schools, jobs, restaurants. Itโ€™s the perfect little town to live in. "
  • 673rent
"Franklin is a beautiful historic town with so many family & business friendly amenities. Downtown parks, shops, eateries, bed & breakfasts, hotel, bike trail, creeks and the origin of the Alleghany River, the possibilities are endless!"
  • snarkesor
"Franklin is a great small town with surprising good restaurants and decent shopping here and nearby. Very friendly town, and wonderful schools. 1,5 hour drive from Pittsburgh, and close to Ohio's major shopping malls, if that's what you like."
  • j h.
"this is a so so area. many many forclosures due to bad mortgages and no one caring. Older people are friendly, lots and lots of kids on drugs and it is so sad. Theres no recreation for the kids and they all turn to crime and drugs. Wouldnt suggest this to families."
