Description

Two bedroom two bath single wide trailer located in a quiet and clean mobile home park.

Looking for a tenant ASAP!

Only 5 mins from Mars Hill University!

Open to month to month style rent, but would prefer a more long term commitment (1 year).

New hardwood style floor in kitchen and living room. Carpet in bedrooms. Master bedroom w/ attached master bath. Second bedroom has bathroom close by, but not attached. Open to multiple renters (both would have to sign a lease agreement). There is a background check required at $20 per applicant.

I am happy to show the space for those that are seriously interested.

Sorry, no animals due to past experiences!

Consideration would be with a $1000 nonrefundable deposit.

Rent is paid to property owner ($1400) A portion is taken out to pay lot rent that the mobile home park charges ($400/per month) by the property owner and paid to the park on your behalf. Power is paid independently by tenant. Water is included. Madison County has places to dump your trash around the county. Tenant will have access to the "dump card" to take of their trash. Heat is oil and the cost is on the tenant.

Tenant is responsible for yard maintenance.

You will be expected to sign a lease (length is negotiable)

"Which school zone the home is in & what the crime rate is. Whether there is child molesters in the vicinity "
  • Gabrielle H.
"Dogs are welcome in the community, people walk their dogs often and there is a local dog friendly coffee shop. "
  • Michael K.
"it's a boring area with a bunch of college students. Only parking is 2hr parking in mars hill unless its residential, parking permit, or working. College students will be anywhere you go in mars hill. "
  • Nativedt777
"Close to town but also have cows as neighbors. There are restaurants , post office, banks, library, shops, gas stations, grocery stores, greenways, a university,an elementary school, and much more close by."
  • Donnajanehugs
"This is a gated mountain community with dramatic views, clean air, wooded areas, hiking trails, golf course, skiing, horseback riding stable, swimming pool, tennis courts, a country club restaurant (open six months of the year), lots of activities and friendly neighbors."
  • Cheryl L.
"We lived here year round for 12 years, & would NOT be leaving if not for our aging parents & their need for our care. All 4 seasons are a blessing & it makes choosing a favorite season impossible. Western Sunsets will rival any in the world! Read this list of possibilities for anyone who is interested in a second home (for any season) or a wonderful all year getaway. This cabin provides the real cabin experience, not a fabricated version. It's cozy, well heated & in a GREAT, if not THE perfect location on the mountain. It makes coming and going easy & fast by mountain living standards. You have year round access to main roads which are kept cleared & well maintained. There is little mountain traffic on Oakridge & you have a shorter drive in & out of the community than most other residents. If you play Golf, you may never find a place you like to play better than Wolf Laurel Country Club. There is little maintenance to do in an antique cabin as you do not want to compromise the integrity of the beautiful logs which are everlasting! The appliances are relatively new & water pressure is great! There is little yard maintenance due to the abundance of natural fauna. The cabin is a 5 minute drive to the Ski Resort. Mars Hill provides great Grocery Shopping @ Ingles, CVS, & the quaint & great restaurants are there, only 20 minutes away. Weaverville has other shopping & dining & is a 30 minute drive from the cabin. You are also 10 minutes from the TN/NC border & a short drive to Johnson City TN. Walking anywhere @ Wolf Laurel is an adventure in Nature. We are some of the people written about who take food & beverages to the through-hikers to meet people from ALL OVER THE WORLD on the Appalachian Trail which is a 2 mile hike from the cabin. On a personal note: I will forever"
