About this House

Situated on one of Jamestown’s most iconic and sought-after streets, this neighborhood has a rhythm all its own. Homeowners stroll the manicured blocks, kids gather to play, and a true sense of *joie de vivre* fills the air. Enjoy super convenient access to schools, parks, downtown Jamestown, and I-86.

Perched high on a corner lot, this home delivers standout curb appeal. A classic American Foursquare with Colonial Revival charm, it blends timeless character with thoughtful updates and added living space over the years. There’s room for everyone, yet it still feels warm and inviting. Lovingly owned for 58 years, it’s ready for its next chapter—and yours.

The kitchen is the heart of the home, and this one shines. Updated and well-appointed, it features stylish granite counters, tile backsplash, and LVP flooring for a fresh, modern feel. The breakfast bar is perfect for quick bites or serving guests, and like-new appliances stay. Now open to the dining room, it creates an ideal flow for gatherings and entertaining.

The living room is all about comfort, anchored by a wood-burning fireplace and flanked by charming built-in bookshelves. Just beyond, the formal dining room is ready for everything from holiday dinners to game nights—spaces like this are more appreciated than ever.

On the main floor, you’ll also find an office/pantry combo, refreshed half bath, and access to both the backyard and covered front porch. Bonus: two separate staircases lead to the second floor.

Upstairs offers four bedrooms and two full baths. Each bedroom is generously sized with closet space, and the primary is tucked away for added privacy. Both bathrooms are updated, including one just off the primary for an en suite feel.

The partially finished basement adds flexibility with additional living space, plus dry storage and laundry. Think movie nights, hobbies, or a wellness retreat.

Outside, enjoy the rebuilt covered front porch or relax in the private backyard. A new Trex deck leads to a stamped concrete walkway and patio—perfect for soaking up summer and fall. There’s plenty of room for play and pets, too.

"First you’ll need to drive around and check out the community and judge for yourself. Jamestown the city is a small struggle but when you’re in the outer county areas you’ll fall in love. It’s a beautiful place to live, visit and enjoy but when you visit have a open mind and respect our community "
  • Chris C.
"I live in Jamestown, NY this area has nothing for teens or young children to do. Problem with that is it leads to crime in the area. I wouldn't recommend raising children here. "

  • Julia K.
"I have about a 4 minute walk to my workplace and about 5-10 minutes from convenient store. My children walk about 20 minutes to their school "

"It’s a cheap place to live, but it’s hard to come by places to rent at a reasonable price when you’re a single mom with 4 kids, and everyone in the house if working and you can barely afford to live. "
  • Jessica S.
"All the events downtown. Local businesses and their support of the community by giving back. Gus macker, Lucy fest, farmers market"
  • Kaylaannmarie420
" The only things that makes it ‘unique’ is Lucy ball. Other than that Jamestown is not the best place it’s changed for the worse and it’s sad to say that. "
  • Melodyleeper
"I was born here and after some travel I’ve come home. Now like all small towns industrial area have closed down 😒"
  • Michelle R.
"this neighbor is not unique it's it's trashy and the police are constantly driving up and down and they harrasss people. "
  • Kristin A.
"Older community with younger moving in they are very nice and are helpful and make you feel welcome. "
  • betsya
"Nice clean area, kid friendly, walking distance to two schools, walking distance to churches, low crime area, friendly neighbors, close to doctors, hospital, "
  • ariandouglas
"It is almost impossible to get in and out of your driveway on Martin Road. If you ever need to park on the street you are doing so at a high risk of damage to your vehicle, I live very close to this listing and have experienced nothing but problems with the traffic this road brings since I moved into my home a couple of years ago. Also with the children walking by going to or leaving school, you are sure to find lots of garbage in your front yard left by them, if they do not destroy property in your front yard. consider this before purchasing on this road, there are many other homes available in this general area that are off this main road."
