Great school !! We are very satisfied. Our child always gets ample opportunities to explore and progress in all aspects. The school has been successful in striking an appropriate balance between Academic and Co-Curricular activities.

We moved to Fremont from North Carolina for my husband's job. My kids have been transferred to various schools in Fremont due to overcrowding. This school year, my kids were placed at Vallejo Mill and we couldn't be happier. Our experience at the other schools was not good. It wasnt the teachers fault but the other parents. They wanted the teachers to give more homework and felt like they disrespected the teachers in general.But nothing like that at Vallejo Mill. This is the first school in Fremont that feels like a regular 'American' school. The other parents are normal and fully respect the teachers. My kids have made fast friends and I've made friends with many of the other parents.Really hoping my kids stay here and not get moved around again.

Egregious racism and sexism at this school. My daughter feels unsafe and unsupported at this school and at this point in the year it’s very clear what kind of environment the school creates. Her friends have had similar experiences of facing discrimination and harassment from students, and they have been largely dismissed when they talked to the administrators about it. It’s clear there is a “proud boys” club that undermines the safety of minority students. The few teachers I’ve talked to are visibly unhappy, I’m not sure if the looming strike is affecting the atmosphere but I know that the school has had problems for the past few years my daughter has been there. I’m thinking of transferring her to another school district but I don’t want her to be far from home. It’s been a difficult year for our family and the fact that I can trust the adults at her school is beyond disheartening.
