My son attended this school for a little over 3 months. It was nothing short of a nightmare. The bullying here is out of control. The teachers absolutely do not care. Their lack of communication and lack of action made that perfectly clear. The administration was just as terrible. I left multiple voicemails for different administrators. Not one voicemail resulted in a return phone call. I eventually called the school board, who assured me the principal would be calling me to address the situation. The next day the principal did call (Im sure it was only at the demands of her boss) I spoke with her and she said she would check on my issue and call me back. That was 3 months ago. So, yes, the school may have a new principal, but it is the same disastrous hell hole it has been for years. Its a shame we can't send our kids to school without the fear of bullying. Its even more shameful that these so called "leaders" just watch it happen with zero regard to how it's affecting the students. DO BETTER!!

I have had a student at Rocky plains for three years. We have always liked the school. However, the new principal, Dr. Body, is phenomenal. He has already surpassed our expectations. Grandparents day was a welcomed addition and a lot of fun. My son talks about how much he is enjoying school and what he is learning. We couldn’t be happier!

this is the worst school ever teachers are very childish students need more discipline,the work teachers give are not explained , i try hard even ask questions .Alcovy High School struggles with persistent safety concerns and frequent disciplinary issues that create an environment where many students feel their physical well-being is constantly at risk. Furthermore, the combination of declining academic performance and a lack of consistent administrative support suggests that the institution is failing its fundamental mission to provide a stable, high-quality education.
