We love oak grove primary! My child's teacher goes above and beyond. The principal goes above and beyond. So glad this is where we started our child in school!

This school district is the worst in the Jackson County area. Not only do they care more about “legacy” students, it common to see athletes getting away with more stuff rather than your average A+ student. Half the teachers coach sports and have heavy favoritism, letting those athletic students get away with disrupting behaviors. The bullying issue in the district in general is disgustingly upsetting. My daughter went here from kindergarten up until her senior year, she was bullied relentlessly by kids she had grown up with!! The principal of both the Middle School and Highschool refused to take any sort of action against bullying and the GUIDANCE COUNSELOR!! told my daughter she gets made fun of because of the way she dresses outside of school (she is into makeup and gothic fashion) which i think is completely unfair. This school claims in advocates for “uniqueness” and for “being yourself” but won’t do ANYTHING for my daughter. She got in trouble for getting into a fight with one of the boys bullying her and here we are with a week long suspension all because my daughter was trying to stick up for herself. NEVER SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!

The school itself is not a problem, however it come to my attention that the cafeteria does not serve enough food in the lunchroom, my daughter end up being at the back of the line and gets barley anything but a yogurt and Bosco stick. It has also come to my concern that bullying is not tolerated yet there's ZERO changes. This school has so much potential but. I would not reccomend if your child disabilities .
