"They would like it very much it’s nice. There is a lot of dogs in this area. The streets are nice and well kept. People go on a lot of walks and kids play outside. It has sidewalks and a lot of streets that are nice to walk around. I would think more than half the residents own dogs. "
  • Trulia User

"I've lived here for 5yrs it's a wonderful semi quiet neighborhood with great neighbors and wonderful paved roads with the Hall of fame within walking distance and close to the interstate for either direction north or south."
  • Trulia User
"Alot of sidewalks to walk your dog . Even a park not to far I don’t have a dog so I’m not sure what the park is like "
  • Denise L.
"I've lived in Colonial Heights since 2006. The area is peaceful--the only chaos we get are transient cars moving from outside areas using us as a through-way--and the neighbors are awesome. I love the garage sales drive we have once a year, the plant sale, the flyers monthly to keep you up to date on what's going on, the FB page where neighbors communicate what's going on (excellent for power outages!), and the meetings at the church just a few blocks over. There's a library within walking distance, a Rite Aid and a Dollar General just up a little and just a short bike ride away is Giant Eagle. Down a dozen blocks to the east is a Walmart and shopping hub, and we're not too far from Belden Village. Mercy Medical/Cleveland Clinic is just 8 miles/minutes away by highway. Then also SARTA 103 runs down Gibbs, Colonial, and Rowland to help people keep mobile! I LOVE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD!"
  • Trulia User
"I live with in a 10 minutes walk of the NFL Professional Football Hall of Fame and every August approximately 250,000 people come to Canton Ohio for the Parade and Induction of the former football players being Inducted into the Hall!!!"
  • Trulia User

  • Trulia User
"There is public transportation and the statesmstreets are pretty busy during the day. it's quiet and pretty peaceful. our neighbors are nice"

  • Mehd1016
"Easy access to highway to drive to work. Less than 15 minute commuting time, but I do not work in Canton. Relatively easy access to most highways anywhere in the city."
  • Ashton P. A.
"Quiet nice surroundings. Good driving distance for my work. Not to far from downtown. Close to shopping places. "
  • Sawyerludwig
"Most traffic in the area is by personal vehicle, though there are busses and other forms of paid transportation such as taxi or Uber/ Lyft."
  • Kerri
"Renting here. Traffic is terrible as cars speed down this toad. It’s truly unsafe and there is no law enforcement presence. "
  • Latres B.
"good neighborhood , respectful and quiet neighbors. lots of kids around , parks are within walking distance as well as stores and restaurants"
  • Melvin M.
"It’s sometimes quite and usually very open. I’m just happy to have a home but I honestly don’t 100% recommend because of stealing."
  • Christina W.
"Just watch your children and you will be fine. Not a horrible neighborhood but you have to be aware of your surroundings "

"very quiet and friendly community the neighborhood has a good history to it. I have friends that move here just recently and I stop by every chance I can when I'm up this way."
  • JENNIFER F.
"Do your homework on neighborhood before moving there. The low cost of living makes it tempting to live there but crime, drugs and gangs are rampid in some areas. "
  • Cj.gero
"Monthly association meetings with food, speakers & fellowship. Yearly garage sales & a picnic open to all."
  • Unspecified

  • Kelli

  • Ashley A.
"There are literally no community events. Canton needs to step it up. I’ve lived here for over twenty years and it’s going downhill. "
  • Jessie B.
"The neighborhood has it's ups and downs, some drugs but otherwise a safe place to live. Too many stray dogs "
  • Berardil
"I’ve lived here for 5 years and love my neighborhood. There are instances where I deal with litter being thrown in my yard and the street, and it is slowly but surely dissipated."
