Lack of communication, rude/unprofessional teaching staff, staff is very quick to accuse students before speaking with the children.

An amazing, phenomenal little school with hard working, dedicated staff, small class sizes, wonderful programs and a lot of spirit. I cannot think of a more encouraging learning environment for my child. I could go on for hours praising Savoy School, my faith in public education is restored and even strengthened by the wonderful folks that work there.

Most of the teachers in the middle school side are very hands on for learning. They do seem to care and frequently give weekly General updates. Test score wise I am unsure why this site has them performing so poorly, if you check the two major cities closest North Adams and Pittsfield , middle school did far better particularly for science. I wish there was more enrichment opportunities but I think there are opportunities to grow and enjoy a small school community.They have fun runs in the fall, plays 2x a year and did have after school clubs in previous years. There are 3d printers and project lead the way is fun. Students are given books in the summer to read and they participate in Natures classroom. These are some of our of the school day experiences. I wish there was more afterschool clubs like what they have for high school but appreciate the opportunity to be kids without undue stress. If you are involved and talk to your child about their day I think any child would be fine, problems seem to occur when parents aren’t involved.
