"Friendly and safe community. Many neighborhoods that are great for raising children. This is a great place for a family. "

"Easy access to state routes. No public transportation available. Small town living. No Uber etc. You can walk places. "
  • Elizabeth B.
"I am 25 now, I use to live here when I was a younger kid from the age of 12-21. It was a great place to live! Quiet, Safe, well educated. Aside from a few trucks moving thru town the traffic was very calm, especially the ride from Peoria to Farmington, its really relaxing. When I lived there the schools were separate, and they were excellent. I am sure the new school is a much better improvement to the area. The Parks on the outskirts of town are really nice and quiet, I believe one had a pond, and a play-set. Plenty of open green space, plenty of exercise to get on the jogging tracks. I am currently interested in moving back to Farmington for its great living, and im sure when I get there I will not be disappointed. A place where your kids could actually leave a bike on the lawn and wake up to see it again. Home."
