About this House

Our home has a stunning view of the lake and golf course at Lakeview Golf Club in Blackshear, Georgia. The property borders that of the golf course. We have approximately 3 acres in all kept lawn. The house, shop and pool are located on 1/2 of property. The approximate 1.5 acres across the driveway could be considered 2 lots as the property is divided by a tree line. The front portion has a beautiful view of the golf course and lake. The back portion is excellent for gardening or yard utility and that side would be great for building. We have an above ground pool with an in ground filter and drain system. The pool is an 11,000 gallon, 24 foot by 52” deep round pool. The liner, filter system and fittings have just been replaced. There are only 4 other homes on our dead end road. We are approximately 1/4 miles just outside the city limits and have city fire protection. All appliances go with the house and include a new dishwasher, a two year old Samsung french (3) door fridge and freezer. The laundry room is large with surround shelving. The HE 3t washer and dryer are by Kenmore and have the platform storage drawers under each. The house has 10 foot ceilings and this makes the home feel larger than its 1800 plus sq feet. There is a shop large enough for a 15 foot jon boat and trailer, lawn mowers and has plenty of tables along the walls for work space. There is no garage but, the shop has two outside covered bays; all concrete flooring, lighted and wired. The home is located at the very end of Overview Road which a short 2/10 mile dirt road just off GA 121 South just outside Blackshear, Georgia. The area is quiet, safe and peaceful. Only and few minutes to town, businesses and schools.
