This school has very high ratings, and all of my kid's friends have been saying how great this school is. I would definitely recommend this school.

Our experience was absolutely horrible with this school, and I feel so validated seeing we were not alone. I'm not the squeaky wheel type, and try to use things a teaching moment with my child, but we dealt with a teacher verbally abusing out child. We went to throw principal and she essentially gaslit us, even though we offered proof. She had no interest in seeing it, because I suppose then she would have to deal with it. When the issue happened again, we went higher up, and then the principal retaliated on a child. Yes, a child! She should be ashamed, but it seems it is all about keeping up appearance. I would rather pay for private school or charter than have my other child here. I wish the district would look into the issues at this location. I've been told by multiple parents the principal is great unless you actually have to deal with her.

My granddaughter tore her ACL playing for the Sachem North Soccer Team. She had surgery attended physical therapy and fought like hell to tryout for the next soccer season (9-10 months later). She was given clearance from her doctor and tried out in her bulky brace and hung in the best she could. Fast forward….. she was cut by the JV Coach because she is not physically ready. How is this child that wore this teams jersey, was hurt on her home field cut and not given the chance to get back to the player she was prior to her injury? Just thrown aside. She did the 4 days of grueling tryouts to find out she was cut. She didn’t expect to start or even definitely play especially in close score games. But… you just cut her. You turn her away. She was hurt at this school playing school ball and she needed to be cut. How about…. Telling her you are not physically ready but you should practice with us and be a part of the team. Practice and get yourself stronger to play again. Practice with the team she loved and supported even after her injury she still went to practices and games to support and be part of her team she loved and supported. Instead these 2 coaches just cut her and treated her like a kid that didn’t play soccer for 11+ years with Sachem. 4 of the years with the Sachem School district. Shame on you……
