"I live back in the back part by the elementary school so I drive to work and everything 98% of the time is clean. "
    • Beth L.
"I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life and I think the most unique thing is that the people are very friendly!"
    • Lisa
"We have no public transit, so car ownership is a must. Roads are not in pristine condition, are narrow in places and difficult to navigate during inclement weather. "
    • Lisa
"Lots of dogs. Some roam free, but safer in fenced area due to traffic on Back Valley Road. Nice walking track close by. "
    • Danacarter03
"Small town country charm. Very little small crime. No major crime. Safe! Friendly people that know a lot of people in town. Nearby schools. New Large Elementary School."
    • Danacarter03
"It's a very safe community with extremely low crime rate. Beautiful land and mountain views. People in the area are friendly and well known. "
    • Sharon B. G.
"Not really a place for dogs to run and play. There is a park but they are not allowed to be off a leash. A dog park would be nice. "
    • Sharon B. G.
"Roads are in good condition. Drivers are not the best. Police are everywhere. Mayberry type of town. "
    • Natalie
"Halloween is AMAZING here. they literally close down parts of the road because the neighborhood gets together and set up haunted houses. people are in general nice, or at least polite. "
    • A
"The commute is far, we drive 15 minutes to the grocery store and 20 to the park. Those are available in Oliver springs but I don’t like them. I drive 45 minutes to work, but I could choose a closer job. I spend a lot of time in Anderson, Knox and Blount counties for business and pleasure Oliver springs is affordable and has beautiful views though. "

"Great place for dogs many in the area, this who have dogs are always outside with dogs. It is a nice place to live"
    • Unspecified
"the town is small and friendly. it's a quiet community for the most part. not all the crime and dangers of a big city. yet close enough to oak ridge and Knoxville to be very convenient. "
    • Sharon B. G.
"I’ve lived here 21 years 3 different locations. For a small town it’s safe, quiet, and it has a grocery store, 3 fast food restaurants and a candy factory. "
    • Sharon B. G.
"Oliver Springs was a booming town due to mineral springs. The spring dried up and so did the town. But it’s still a quiet place to live. "
    • Mpotter6196
"It’s a very nice community with great people. The environment is enjoyable and it’s a cozy place to live. I would live here forever if it wasn’t for working so far away. "
    • John S.
"this area is a safe and secure place to live, we are close to churches and a brand new elementary school"
