Great experience with the first teacher our child had, below average experience with the next one. They have some very good teachers on staff, but some are just there to receive a paycheck and don't bring anything to the table.

This school has done so much to improve the last 3 years. Increased student achievement, decreased discipline incidents, 5th grade out of trailers and additional administration. It's been a great experience for us.

Marshall has done so many things in the last 2 years to move forward. They completed k-2 school, bought an existing building for preschool and are building a new 3-5 school. They have caring teachers who want the children to do well. The board hired a new Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent just over a year ago. The first year there they with the help of community members and businesses were able to pass a school levy to build the new 3rd-5th grade building and do repairs to the older facilities. I believe test score rose in the first year and will continue to rise. They have an excellent Career Center that is preparing students to be future business owners, health care providers, auto mechanics and computer technology. I see a bright future in the Marshall School System.
