The house is located in Glover Park few blocks away from the French Embassy, Georgetown University, with bus connections and 5min walk to stores and restaurants. The house, built in 1930, is very cosy. The kitchen opens onto a comfortable dining room and living room. There is a basement, with a large bedroom, a bathroom, and a laundry room downstairs. There are 3 rooms upstairs.
Our street is very quiet. It has a porch on W street and a screen porch to avoid mosquitos, a deck, a garden on back street with a view and direct access to Glover Archbold park.
There are 3 grocery stores (Wholefood, Safeway, Trader Joe's) nearby and the neighborhood is lively with restaurants, bars and coffee places. The monuments and museums are at approx.15 mn drive, or by bus, and a little less by bike. It's a great neighborhood.

The house is rented without furniture.
Tenant is responsible to maintain the little from and back gardens

It's not a hot spot for nightlife, but there's enough selection of restaurants and a few bars, and everything you really need (like groceries, a pharmacy, etc.) is here. It's very green and walkable, with lots of trees, well-kept front yards, and parks. It makes a great base, as both Virginia and other areas of DC are easily accessible by bus or car. Meanwhile, Glover Park is free of the noise, crowds, and traffic of some of those other areas."
