My kiddo was in the preschool program, full day. This kiddo had never had the experience to interact with peers and is lagging in this area. I took all the steps to try to give him support at school, but time and time again he was being sent home early. He even had an IFSP, which is a written legal document that lays out the supports and services kids with developmental delays. Two skill builders who would come to the class for an hour one day a week to support him. This school never gave him the opportunity to practice peer to peer relationships. They just sent him home. Even after meetings with his whole team, we talked about a step up program. STEP UP...He could only go two hours a day. After the first week, they stepped him down. Now he can only come to school for an hour and half. What a joke. Kristen Barnett (preschool admin) & Teacher Kim Cowdry have completely given up on this kid and it breaks my heart. If you have a child with higher needs, this is NOT the school for you.

"First off, you are going to have to come into town for food which is 15 minutes away. But if you want to see the road less traveled and where it leads, go out a rural raod up river in Oregon. The perfect example is Dorena, OR. One of the most beautiful places in the country, mostly unscathed beauty, and if you go up the right side road you might find a hidden lake with noone around for miles. Can make for a romantic sunset, or????. Winding rivers perfect for kayaking, fishing, sitting and enjoying the rapids, tens of miles of trails that are great for hiking or biking, National forests, camping, lakes. What more could you ask for. If its the outdoors you crave, look no further. No better way to enjoy it than in a log cabbin or home!"
