Description

When you pull up to this spacious split level with a true basement on Temple Ave you will see it is oozing with curb appeal. Since it is on the corner you benefit from a huge 75 ft front lot allowing you plenty of space between you and the neighbors. The fully fenced yard is an added bonus. There is a shed for storage and off the kitchen a patio divided from the yard by a maintenance free vinyl privacy fence. Inside you will find a well maintained home with newer mechanicals. The HVAC system was relaced along with the hot water tank in 2023. The floor plan offers a living room and eat-in kitchen on the main floor. The eat-in kitchen has tons of cabinets, plenty of countertop space, and a sliding door leading to the back patio. There is a garden window above the kitchen sink to grow all of your own herbs. It's perfect for bbqing dinner and entertaining. The lower level family room is an amazing space for entertaining. It features new flooring (2023) and a wood burning fireplace along with a bar. There is a great closet for storage. Then there is a basement with a second bathroom and room for your laundry and storage. The second floor of this home features the main bathroom with dual sinks, a large linen closet, and bathtub/shower combo along with the three bedrooms. The roof was installed in 2016 and the home has vinyl replacement windows as well. This is a must see because all the big ticket items are done. Come over and add your own personal touch.

"We have an awesome Halloween display and that in itself brings together at least 300 kids. That is not including the adults. We love to bring happiness to the people in our community and that is the best way we do it and the neighborhood loves it. We even have people that have been told and come from out of town to check it out."
  • Jeffrey O.
"There are other families in this area and the beach is near and parks are everywhere for your children "
  • Lisa O.
"Do not live in this neighborhood. Neighbors are nice but there are lots of drug deals and bad influences."
  • Lisa J.
"Not a safe neighborhood. Lots of drug deals/use, crime, loud noises. People are rude. Kids are always running around. "

  • N.Figueroa
"Lorain is a cheap place to live but not good if you have kids. We are leaving Lorain to get our kids in better schools. There is a lot of gang violence and young teens dying. Don’t want my kids to grow up around that. "
  • Rachel N.

  • Philip And Amy Bobel
"If you want to live in a community where your neighbors are more like family, and your children will have an endless supply of friends to play with, then Deerfield is the place. We've lived here for 5 years and love it. Everyone is kind and inviting. The only downside is the gun range, which is not moving any time soon. But honestly, after 5 years, we hardly notice the noise. But the nature and people surrounding us make up for it."
  • Ariana
"Grew up on the West Side of Lorain, where most of my family still lives. Certain areas are better than others of course, but generally it is quiet and safe. Lorain has lots to offer like the boardwalk, the Palace theatre, and the International Fest in addition to being close to things like Cedar Point, Cleveland, and tons of shopping"
  • Rpoyle
"I c people walking there dogs all the time an have helped people caught there dogs when they get loose "
  • Kristine K. I.
"I live near downtown but no public transportation. no jobs in this town, so you have to drive to other locations. "
  • Sherrinine
"relatively close to highway, there are communities within easy driving distance, that include stores and restaurants. close to the lake and black river landing"
