The teachers are amazing and so is the principal. She's always out with the students interacting with them. When i needed to get my daughter accommodations they met her needs right away. They offer guidance and support both academically and socially to help the students grow into independent learners, ready to take the next steps after graduation.. Several AP classes are offered, and these classes not only challenge the student, but help prepare them for a successful start at college. Some of the AP teachers even provide weekend workshops to help prepare the students for their AP test at the end of the year. School spirit and a sense of community are very apparent when you walk into SCHS. The very active student council provides activities and spirit assemblies on a very regular basis which unites the classes in some fun competition. The athletic program is very impressive, and the band and theatre programs are top-notch!
