About this House

There is nothing fishy here! Those of you that know this house will find that statement funny. For others, this store and is located next to the Bait Box and was used in the past as the World of Fish aquarium store but is now an amazing home on a beautiful, .29 acre lot! This 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home has had many updates and is pretty much move-in ready for most people. The current owners use the handy side entrance the most, but there is a nice sliding door off the back dec that will allow you easy access to the kitchen with your groceries. The kitchen is large and open and features white appliances to include a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave and a dishwasher that were all purchased in 2006. There are oak cabinets wrapped with laminate countertops, a portable island, vinyl plank flooring and newer windows and patio door. leading to a 7'5x9' deck that is perfect for that first cup of coffee in the morning. Formal dining is available too with newer vinyl windows, hardwood flooring and sheetrock walls. There is a 7x12' sitting area that is perfect for an office with a closet or it could easily converted to a 4th main floor bedroom by adding a short wall and a door. The living room is huge and will allow large furniture and different configurations for those of you with sectional couches. On the front of the house is a large 3 season enclosed porch. This is a great space that also keeps the noise down inside the house and acts like a buffer from traffic noise on E 2nd street. The 3 bedrooms upstairs all have hardwood flooring, vinyl windows and closets. 2 of the rooms even have ceiling fans. The nearly square bathroom is located on the upper level with the bedrooms and has a tub with a shower, a nice vanity with a sink and a toilet. The flooring is vinyl and there is one vinyl window. Laundry is in the basement and features a washer and gas dryer (2006) There is even an emergency toilet in the basement for those times when nature calls and you need a place to go. There are many updates to include a forced air furnace in 2001 that was serviced ever year by SWLP, a new gas water heater in 2023, newer vinyl siding, newer 200 amp circuit breakers and new wiring in the upper floor in 2014, patio door to deck in 2012, kitchen flooring in 2023, storage shed in 2023, partial fencing in 2014, new toilets in 2023. and lastly the hardwood floors were refinished in 2006. This home appears to be solid and has a mostly dry basement per the sellers.
